Products of Ces and for Ces

During the season (from mid-May to September/October) we offer various products manufactured by us on site:

Herbal teas
Syrups
Pesto of herbs
etc.

We also sell products that come "from outside" to support the project:

Brochure about the first 25 years of our project: «Spielwiese und Heuland» (in german) or «Cappelloni, Balabiott, and Neorurali» (in italian) (1997, 100 pp., CHF 15.-)

Snack for travellers

On request and spontaneously we offer snacks and drinks on the square in front of the church of Ces.

Support for courses

On request, we can offer courses on different topics or support for such courses, for example:

History: Traditional ways of life, land use
Biology, nature: Biodiversity, different dwellings
Energy: Supply, self-sufficiency
Food of own production: Possibilities and limits
Building buildings: yesterday and today
etc.

Protecting nature and the landscape

For more than 30 years, we have been committed to various measures to protect the nature and landscape of the high plateau of Ces. This includes, for example:

Cutting maintenance of pastures and meadows
Cutting the forest and caring for the edges of the forest
Care and renaturation work in the Varenc swamp

Our oven for bread and pizzas

On the ruins of a derelict house, located near the Chapel of St. Peter and Paul, we built, in the 1990s, a square. One part is covered with a roof of traditional pines and contains the wood-fired oven for bread and pizzas.

On request, we produce bread and / or pizzas for you or we help you with production.
